Best moment this week: Feeling baby girl move all the time :) A few of my family members have been able to feel her move too. :) You can also see some of her big kicks from the outside!! So crazy!!

Food Cravings: Still chocolate chip cookies :) and also crab cake sandwiches... and Back Street Grill! I love their fries, burgers... and the pickles!!!! YUMMO!

25 Weeks

Sleep: Sleeping well... having back pain at night that is pretty awful. The heating pad has helped some.... I did some research and found a chiropractor that I hear is amazing for pregnant woman. I am going to make an appointment after Christmas. I am really hopeful that it will help both short and long term. *fingers crossed*
Best moment this week: This weekend we (Baby Brooke & I) went with one of my bestfriends to pick out her perfect dress for her wedding. It was so much fun :) Little stinker though decided it was the best time to nap and didnt kick for the gals to feel :-/ lol... as soon as I got home she was kicking like crazy. :-p

Looking forward to: we scheduled our 3d/4d ultrasound at a new place called Wiggles & Giggles. We are going on January 12th which is just a few days after my birthday. I am SOOO excited!!!!!!!!

 

This Friday was another dr's appointment. The dr said I am measuring perfectly. I am up 18 total pounds which is right on track! I have to now go back every 3 weeks, instead of 4 weeks. At my next appointment I will get tested for Gestational Diabetes. I am not looking forward to it.. but atleast I can cross it off the "to do" list. Finger crossed that I don't have it. Baby and I sure do love our sweets :)

Miss Anything? Caesar salad!!!!!!!!!!! Esp this week... hubby treated me to Texas Roadhouse (MY FAVORITE PLACE) and I didnt get a sweet tea or a caesar salad. Still was delicious and we had a great time... but I sure do love them! :)
Movement: All the time :) I LOVE IT!!! It is hard for Colby to feel her moving right now... so I am excited for him to also enjoy it. She loves to kick/move when his hand is on my belly :) Daddy's Girl already :) <3

22 Weeks

Maternity Clothes? Yes!! I bought some more shirts at Kohls and went up another size since I am only getting bigger :-p lol

Stretch marks? Nope.. I have tried my best to use the lotions for stretch marks to be safe... but can not stand the smell of it! I am going to try my best... but have only used it maybe 4 times so far!
Sleep: Still having A LOT of dreams... which is making it hard to fully rest well. Everytime i wake up in the middle of the night (which is about 4 times lol) I start another dream.
Best moment this week: Having an extra long weekend because of the Thanksgiving holiday. It was wonderful having more time spend with Colby and our family.

Miss Anything? I would have enjoyed a glass of wine during Thanksgiving :-)

Other News: We signed up for the classes at the hospital today for "prepared childbirth." It starts in January! I am excited to learn and feel a bit better about what to some what expect for labor and delivery. PLUS... I REALLY want to see Colby with the pregnancy suit on ;-) Don't worry... I will DEF take pics to share! :)

 

This Week's Pic: As many of you know... I was a dancer and Colby was and still is big into soccer. Of course, we are hoping for a baby girl that will enjoy atleast one of them :) or both!!!! I thought it would be cute to include it in this week's chalkboard about all of her movement!

Other news from the doctor....

Baby girl is measuring in the 40th percentile for size. (50% is average so the doctor was very happy with that!) Dr said she wouldn't be the biggest baby born that day. I am just fine with that :) LOL She is also measuring perfectly. I am also up 10 total pounds!

Gender Reveal Party

We had our gender reveal party two days after Colby & I found out the gender of our baby. It was soooo hard keeping the secret from EVERYONE... but it was beyond worth it!

Everyone signed in under which team they were on. Everyone also wore that color to the party. It was so much fun!

Halloween Costumes

This year for Halloween... we (...let's be real... I) wanted to do a couples costume that also involved the baby. The shirts with the skeleton babies kind of creep me out... so that wasn't going to happen. So... this is what I came up with. LOL... It was cheap.. and easy! Our friends loved it :)

At my appointment at the beginning of my 2nd trimester... the nurse told me I gained one pound. I looked at her like she was nuts! lol... I am excited (<-- weird to be excited) to see what the scale says at my next appointment. I am thinking it was only 1 pound because I may have lost a little because I am drinking so much water and eating better (sometimes haha) so it evened out to 1 pound. Thats the only way it makes it a little believable for me. lol

Anything making you queasy or sick: This week I decided to eat at a chinese restaurant... Im not a big fan, but I do love general tso's chicken... so I got that. It was yummy... BUT I was so hungry I decided to get their house salad that had their dressing on it. This was not a good idea! I got sick later that night--- pretty sure it was because of that but I will spare you the details for why I think it was that :-) lol

I did start having a tooth ache this week which really has stunk! I know that dental health is very important when pregnant, so I am making an appointment tomorrow. The reason why this really stinks is..... as part of our planning on getting pregnant... I went to the dentist a few months before and got my teeth healthy and my wisdom teeth removed. I NEVER had any tooth aches- not even with my wisdom teeth! I knew it was important... so we spent the $$$$$$$ and got it all done. Well... now I get a tooth ache. Grrrr.....!! Hopefully it's nothing big!

The Start of the Chalkboard

Our Little Gummy Bear

We got to hear the heart beat and see Baby B for the first time last Friday, August 24, 2012. It was amazing to see our baby for the first time. Hearing the heart beat was unreal! They gave us the official due date of March 31, 2013.... 3-31-13!!!
